Employment and Training Programs

MOSAIC requires all newly hired personnel to attend extensive and continuing education through both AVEDA and in-salon courses. Regardless of previous experience, the AVEDA products and system of care is so unique, additional training is essential.

There is also a 3-month probationary period where your ability to work within our team structure is evaluated. This evaluation will be based on the following qualities:

  • Self-motivated and self-directed personality requiring a minimum supervision or support
  • The highest professional standards of behavior and personal integrity
  • A visible commitment to the wellbeing of both clients and coworkers
  • Reliable, punctual, efficient, orderly
  • A respect and understanding for the AVEDA philosophy and mission
  • A fluent knowledge of AVEDA products and systems and the highest level of technical skill and sanitation procedures.

    Once the probationary period has passed, you will begin progressing through several accreditation levels --- from Apprentice to Master. Many opportunities are available depending on your skill and interests. Each advancement offers additional compensation through changing price structures and commissions, as well as opportunities for Advanced Training in locations throughout the US, including the AVEDA Institutes in Minneapolis, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York. There is an annual Review Period which includes Self-Evaluation and Goal Setting.
